The 6th IYSECC (Int’l Youth Summit for Energy and Climate Change), held July 17th-20th at Tsinghua University, is a Chinese student-organized event in cooperation with CYCAN, Tsinghua and Peking University, with support from UNEP. I believe it will be a great opportunity for foreign students to meet and interact with motivated Chinese students in a unique setting, as well as learn more about the future of China’s energy and climate change in one of the greatest campuses in Beijing.
‘Smart Cities’, ‘Energy Revolution’, ‘Green Entrepreneurship’, digital logistics management and Sino-American relations are among many of the topics that will be explored.

I’m currently looking for foreign students who are interested in attending this conference. There are currently 8 spots left for foreign students free of charge. (400 RMB for regular attendees.)

If you are unable to attend all four days, that is fine as well–just let me know which days you would be able to attend. Lunch, dinner, and tea snacks will be provided.

RSVP to jichoi16@amherst.edu by July 15th if you want to be on the list, and please feel free to ask any questions!
