Global Citizens Unite! Welcome to join us for a celebration of the 10 year anniversary of Americans Promoting Study Abroad, where you’ll be able to enjoy international appetizers, live music, and the opportunity to connect with new friends of all ages who either share an interest in studying abroad or who have already had their own study abroad adventures.

Hosted by Americans Promoting Study Abroad (APSA) in celebration of our nonprofit’s 10-year anniversary, this will be an inclusive event, designed to connect you with our APSA community of diverse, passionate young adults from across the U.S.

The APSA network is full of people like you who believe in the importance of cross-cultural communication & making a positive impact in today’s world. Also, nonprofit professionals working with globally focused organizations, as well as high school and university educators with a passion for international education are welcome to join us in Long Island City for this special occasion.

In addition to sharing stories about international travel and study experiences, your ticket will give you access to your fill of globally inspired food & a selection of non-alcoholic beverages, as well as a live concert performance from Los Cumpleaños, a Colombian themed rock/dance band that will be loads of fun!

Please note this is a non-alcoholic event. Also, ALL AGES are welcome to join us but if you’re under the age of 18, you’ll need to be accompanied by a parent or guardian.

Proceeds from ticket sales will go towards supporting the APSA Scholarship Fund.

8PM | Global Youth social and casual networking over food and drinks

9PM | Live performance from Los Cumpleaños

10:00PM | Closing remarks
