Join Beijing Postcards and BCD for a Saturday lunch and visit to Beijing Postcards’ gallery off Nanluoguxiang.

Beijing Postcards is a small start-up collecting the memories and history of a city in transition. They tell the story of Beijing through their unique collection of maps, photographs and postcards. Through original research, they bring these stories to life through walks, talks and lectures as well as products like calendars, reproductions, and, of course, postcards.

Their gallery is located off Nanluoguxiang on Chaodou hutong in the back corner of an overbuild courtyard. Their courtyard is the subject of their newest walking tour “Layers of Beijing” where they have collected the stories of the neighbors who live in their courtyard. At the gallery they will give a short presentation on their collection, Beijing history, and the “Layers of Beijing” project.  More info: http://bjpostcards.com/
