The Future of American Study Abroad in China | Sino-American Talks

Event Details

Join us to learn about the growth and the challenged that Americans studying in China undergo, and how we can ensure that the next generation of cross-cultural leaders have a positive experience in China.

Join us on March 5th at 5pm at the Project Pengyou Courtyard for a panel discussion from three industry professionals on Americans studying in China. We will be discussing how Americans tend to cope with the cultural differences that they encounter, how they view and experience Chinese culture, and what kinds of trends are happening in the industry of international education.

This event is open to everyone, but it may be of particular interest to those that are interested in working in the study abroad industry, and to those that are interested in cross-cultural communication.

~~~~~~~~~~
This event is organized by Sino-American Talks. Sino-American Talks is dedicated to improving the relationship between Chinese and American society. Currently, there is a lack of understanding and trust between the United States and China. A good relationship takes years to build, so let’s get started on smoothing that process along. Our aim is to strengthen mutual understanding and respect, and to reduce false assumptions. Americans need a greater understanding of the the Chinese perspective on Sino-American issues, and Chinese need a greater understanding of the American perspective.
We host live events in Beijing, featuring speakers from both China and the USA, focusing on a wide range of topics that relate to the two countries and their relationship.
