HQ: Lexington, KY | 4 MemberEstablished in 2010, the Confucius Institute at the University of Kentucky is a center for Chinese language, culture, art and business. A gateway to China for the university and the Commonwealth, the Confucius Institute serves as the conduit for UK’s China initiatives, facilitating a range of China exchange programs across the campus and beyond. The teaching abroad program is a student-teaching experience in Xi’an, China at the Gaoxin No. 1 High School. The University chooses select students to complete their Kentucky teaching abroad in China.
