Community Health Resource Center (CHRC) is a non-profit 501(c)(3) organization and an affiliate of California Pacific Medical Center. Since 1986 CHRC’s mission has been to provide and promote innovative health care and health maintenance programs to the greater Bay Area as well as the patients served by CPMC. Our onsite services include nutrition and behavioral health counseling, health education, support groups, and coordination of multiple patient services to supplement the care provided by physicians.
Position Description: Under the direction of the Program Coordinator, the RN Educator supports health screening events by providing education to community members at health fairs, wellness events, and employee retreats within the city of San Francisco. This position is based on the scheduling of offsite (community based) health screening events and health fairs, and does not follow a regular schedule.
Requirements:
- Currently licensed Registered Nurse
- Fluent in Cantonese/Mandarin OR Spanish
- Proven ability to work in a fast-paced environment
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
- Flexible schedule may include weekdays and weekends
- Ability to lift up to 45 lbs
- License and credentials must be maintained by individual nurse
