Job Description
Working collaboratively with other creative team members, the Motion Graphic designer works with the Design and Creative leads and will be responsible for animation and designing, developing, building and delivering high quality, on brand graphics and motion graphics for Mandarin9’s product and other creative/marketing video and design initiatives.
Job Responsibilities
Collaborate with other members of the creative team in a start-up environment
Take ownership of and execute projects, outlining the initial creative vision, creating storyboards, and executing design concepts
Assist in the production of video shoots in-studio and on-site as necessary
Edit raw video footage into video stories so that they clearly convey a compelling message and accomplish the video’s goals
Create high impact graphics and compose 2D and 3D animation used for final production
Assist in the selection of audio, graphics, colors, and animation, etc., taking initiative to make creative recommendations that accomplish the goals of the video
Design and produce multimedia for use on websites, presentations, and events
Stay current on the latest trends and techniques related to motion graphics, animation and video media
Maintain and follow best practices for versioning control, naming convention and organization of graphic files and archiving
Requirements
· Excellent creative eye, with demonstrated experience designing and building creative animated logos, infographics, text and motion graphics.
· 3-7 years in multimedia production with a specialized focus in motion graphics and video production required
· Excellent time management skills and the ability to work well under tight deadlines
· Must be able to work both independently and as part of a team
· Fundamental understanding of entire production process and strong post-production skills
