Our team of Leadership Fellows at the Project Pengyou UW-Madison Chapter have not only put together a strong chapter, they have created their own class to engage students in constructive international dialogue! The course, called “U.S.-China Relations: Cross-Cultural Dialogues” focuses on fostering open and constructive discussions of cultural issues.

Pengyous know that international communication is worthwhile, but it takes work and an open-mind. Mackenzie Carroll, one of the Project Pengyou UW-Madison Chapter leadership team, told the Daily Cardinal, UW-Madison’s student news organization, “One of our (Chapter’s) members told us this was the first time she felt like she had a family on campus,” a sure sign that the UW Chapter is doing an excellent job of creating a welcoming and constructive chapter.

Great work UW-Madison Pengyous! We are proud of the work you are doing to strengthen international engagement and friendship on your campus, and looking forward to hearing about the interesting dialogues this course will spark!
