I will be graduating in May, 2018 and am hoping to find a teaching job in China for the following fall. My educational background is in the biological sciences, and I have conducted independent original molecular biology research for 2 years. I also have broad experience as an educator, including interning an educational science museum; tutoring high school students in math and chemistry; working as a teaching assistant for college level math, chemistry, and biology courses; and overseeing a student-run educational community outreach program. I have approximately 4 months experience living in Beijing and am near-fluent in conversational Mandarin.

Oversaw the Wesleyan Science Outreach program, a student group that travels five days a week to local public elementary schools to teach science lessons to children.
