Personal Summary
I am one of fourteen students in the country on the National Youth Advisory Council for generationOn, a youth enterprise of Points of Light that mobilizes youth to make a difference through service. Since returning from Shanghai, I helped launch Service Clubs in China with my Chinese peers and helped them identify community needs, present ideas to school officials and implement projects. Next fall, I am leading a Social Entrepreneurship Conference at school and where I wish to highlight cross-cultural endeavors with China to raise awareness of students from a wide range of New York City schools about China and to engage students in hands-on projects.
