Personal Summary
Bob (Qingjie 庆杰) hails from Foshan, Guangdong, China (hometown of Bruce Lee!). He is currently a rising junior majoring in International Relations at Pomona College in Southern California. He works as a Language Fellow on campus, where he mentors and guides students with language learning. He is interested in the region of Latin America and East Asia, and hopes to pursue a career in international commerce or NGOs that connect the two. He first joined the Project Pengyou under the temptation of free Chinese food at the meeting. It thrills him to meet people so genuinely interested in learning about his home country. He enjoys the lively cultural activities as well as the meaningful exchange of ideas inspired by the Project. He looks forward to seeing a more positive US-China perception and people becoming Pengyou across the ocean!
