On Oct. 20, 2017, US Ambassador to China, Terry Branstad, hosted nearly 100 American students and educators in Beijing at a special reception at his residence in Beijing, in collaboration with Project Pengyou and The US-China Strong Foundation. Ambassador Branstad encouraged more Americans to study in China and stressed the importance of people-to-people exchange for the future of U.S.-China relations. Attendees included high school and university students studying abroad in China, as well as directors of study abroad programs, representing over 35 different institutions. Click here for the event press release.
