Montclair Kimberley Academy excited for Leadership Fellows, Jayson Thompson and Jordan Schildkraut, to start chapter building!
In a write-up for their school news organization, Montclair Kimberley Academy glowed with pride for two of their students, Jayson and Jordan, who recently returned from our Fall Leadership Training Summit at Harvard. The pair from MKA were two of only a handful of high-schoolers to be selected from almost two hundred applicants, nearly allĀ of whom were college students.
Coach Alyssa Farrelly said she was “really impressed” with the boys during the summit. Alyssa is also an MKA alum, class of 2006, and noted that “I think it’s great to have an MKA chapter, it’s a great school and Project Pengyou’s network will have a lot to bring as well.”
Jayson and Jordan both expressed the hope that starting a chapter at MKA would eventually lead to the launch of a study abroad program at their school to China, and ensure that more students from their school become global leaders and US-China bridge-builders.
