The Project Pengyou Eagle Chapter at Embry-Riddle Aeronautical University (ERAU) in Prescott, AZ recently won the Eagle Unity award, which is presented to the organization that has conducted a program with the intent to bring people together or educate people from diverse backgrounds. The 2015 Pengyou Day event organized by current Chapter President Nick Reinders and his leadership team was especially noted by the school. It included discussions of deep culture and exchange including Chinese cultural traditions of tea and mahjong. The Chapter has also deepened cultural understanding of China in the greater Prescott community through sharing their experiences studying in China at local libraries.
