Requirements for Projects Entering the Competition:
Projects entering the competition must be led by “[a]cademic leader[s], science and technology innovation talents and high-level venture entrepreneurs [at a] leading academic or technological level”. They must have “promising scientific research achievements and projects” with “independent intell[ectual] property, core technology and industrialization development”. The project must have the “capability to tackle key problems in technology, promote the development of high-tech industry and emerging discipline.” Applicable industries include information technology, culture, tourism, fashion, financials, energy conservation and environmental protection, high-end equipment manufacturing, new materials, and health and biotechnology.

Requirements for Applicants:
At least one team member must be able to speak and write Chinese fluently. Applicants must have overseas (outside of China) educational background of master’s degree or higher.
