January 15 is Martin Luther King Jr. Day in America. On this day Americans celebrate the the life and legacy of one of America’s greatest heroes and civil rights activists – Dr. Martin Luther King Jr. (1929-1968). In his famous “I Have a Dream” speech, Dr. King declared that all people should be judged not “by the color of their skin, but by the content of their character.” Please join us at the Beijing American Center for a program that will include live dance and musical performances and will celebrate his amazing legacy and his fight to end racism and discrimination in America.

The program will start at 6:30pm and doors will open at 6pm. Please try to arrive at least 10 minutes before the program starts to allow enough time to go through security.

Directions: Metro Line 10, Liangmaqiao Station Exit B, walk northeast to the Tian Ze Road intersection of An Jia Lou Road, north side of the Visas Office.
