This event gives five shortlisted African business start-ups the chance to pitch their ideas to a panel of established finance, marketing, and entrepreneurial figures and noted professionals involved in the African and black community in China.

This event gives five shortlisted African business start-ups the chance to pitch their ideas to a panel of established finance, marketing, and entrepreneurial figures and noted professionals involved in the African and black community in China.

Finalists will get the chance to hear expert opinions and perspectives, as well as gain valuable connections, with the eventual winning team receiving the profits raised from activities across Africa Week to help kickstart their development. As the finale to Africa Week’s busy programme, this event will also be a celebration featuring performances by African students from across Beijing.
