Texas A&M Open House, Pay-it-Forward event.

Texas A&M International University will be hosting an open house showcasing the University’s resources, academics, organizations and more. Project Pengyou TAMIU chapter will be hosting an educational classroom throughout this event in our Pay it Forward event titled Teach a Pengyou.

In this event we will be teaching all participants from all the South Texas Region visiting the University about Chinese culture and language. We will host activity tables including :

Language: learning how to write 朋友 and the meaning of it.

Fun: Chopstick race. Find out how good you are using chopsticks picking up beans out of a rice bowl.

Crafts: Learn how to make a paper latern and fan and decorate it with all your pengyous!

This activity will be open to children from all ages, students and adults.
