Chinese teacher Yuming Guo and Saint Ann’s Project Pengyou Chapter Members will lead the event. The participants will learn how to say various Mandarin words related to Chinese cooking, and will eventually enjoy a delicious spread of chicken and vegetarian 饺子(“jiaozi”)! The activity is intended to spark interest in future Chinese language studies for younger students, and potentially inspire older participants to consider furthering their knowledge of Chinese culture, and possibly study abroad in China.
