Event Details
China is the fastest growing film market in the world. By 2020, China is expected to overtake North America as the world’s largest market for cinema. For the past several years Nashville Film Festival has been hosting groups of Chinese film makers and the “China Spectrum” in partnership with the China Film Producers’ Association, Tennessee Entertainment Commission, and J C Business Group. This year, “China Spectrum” will feature a Panel Discussion on April 28 from 9:00-10:30 am followed by a networking session with Chinese film makers from 10:30-11:30 am. Mr. Wang Fenglin, General Secretary of the China Film Producers’ Association will discuss opportunities for US content distribution and co-production in China. Bob Raines, Executive Director, Tennessee Entertainment Commission; Ted Crockett, Nashville Film Festival, Executive Director; and Ms. Li Weaver, President of J C Business Group will highlight recent efforts to connect with Chinese entertainment industry and help US film makers to access the fast growing China market.
