Join Dr. Jack Chiang this Thursday, July 16th at 6:30pm in Galaxy Soho’s Swanport Coffee for the next edition of the PKU MBA Speaker Series: Dr. Jack Chiang’s Polluted Work. Have a drink or three as he shares stories from his latest research – and not just dry data but some unexpected obstacles and surprising discoveries, too!
Accompanying Dr. Jack Chiang is two of the top entrepreneurs working to make Beijing’s indoor air cleaner, healthier and tastier; Matt Schrader, Smart Air China Head, and Liam Bates, Origins Chief Excitement Officer. Matt and Liam will each share their stories about how they found themselves working in air, the future of the industry from their vantage points, and what you can do to breathe easier. All three speakers will be available after their talks in the event that you would like to buy them a beer.
ABOUT Jack Chiang: Dr. Jack Chiang is an Assistant Professor of Organizational Management at Peking University, Guanghua School of Management. Determined to bring Chinese management research up-to-date, Dr. Chiang bridges the academic with the practical, and the Western with the Eastern, in all his endeavors. His area of expertise surrounds how leadership styles or behaviors are developed and shaped by different contexts, such as national culture and extreme contexts. In addition to his research, Jack participates in talent reviews, leadership development, recruiting and consulting projects. He received his PhD from University of Washington and is published in several major international and Chinese academic journals. He’s also one of the most popular professors amongst MBA students and just a nice guy with whom to share a beer.
