The Future of Publishing in China

With Jo Lusby, Managing Director of Penguin North Asia

Tuesday, June 3rd, 2014 from 7:00 PM

We are thrilled to be hosting a talk with Jo Lusby this coming Tuesday, where she will be discussing Chinese writers, readers in China, writers on China, and everything in between!

The book has played a central role in Chinese history, from the world’s oldest printed volume through the enlightenment of the masses in the Cultural Revolution and on to present day consumer reform. As China seeks to transform itself into an economy driven by creativity and ideas, where does the tradition of book reading and writing stand, and how will the digital revolution affect it?
