In addition, the Admissions Advisor is responsible for collaborating with the Marketing & University Partnership team to conduct University and student outreach, and the China teams to confirm host company placements for the students.

Location: CRCC Asia San Francisco Office

Reports to: Global Director of Admissions

Hours of Duty: 9am – 6pm, Monday to Friday

The Admissions Advisor will be responsible for managing student accounts and conducting telephone interviews for CRCC Asias programs. In addition, the Admissions Advisor is responsible for collaborating with the Marketing & University Partnership team to conduct University and student outreach, and the China teams to confirm host company placements for the students.

Job Description 

·      Assist in scheduling student applicants for advising sessions

·      Conduct advising sessions with applicants to ensure eligibility for CRCC Asias Programs

·      Provide Program advice for students, parents and University Partners through advising sessions, regular emails and phone calls.

·      Oversee aspects of CRCC Asias North American Enrollment Process with guidance from the Global Directors and the company founders, including pre-departure assistance and post program reintegration.

·      Manage studentsaccounts and collect the necessary information for the internship placement in collaboration with the Business Development Managers in China.

·      Create offer and welcome letters for students on a daily basis

·      Assist the Marketing teams with Admissions deadlines and proposals.

·      Work with Marketing team to coordinate effective outreach plans based on analytics and student data

·      Travel to Universities on occasion to give presentations regarding CRCC Asias programs

·      Become involved in the international education community through regional conferences, outreach, and networking events

·      Other ad hoc duties when necessary

·      Potential 3 month placement in one of CRCC Asia’s three China offices (June – August) in a program management role.  

Qualifications

                     Minimum Bachelors degree education with prior experience working in either  student advising, international education or a China related organization.  

                      Strong Telephone Skills Required, Strong language skills, both oral and written.

                      Strong computer admin skills (word processing, spreadsheets, database),
                        knowledge of CRM software preferred

                      Demonstrated ability to work with detail and perform duties without close
            supervision on a small team

 

                      Ability to juggle multiple tasks and work under pressure.

                       Knowledge of a second language and experience traveling and/or living abroad or other multicultural living experience is highly desirable, specifically relating to China ideal.
