China Politics Weekly aims to keep business leaders, investors, diplomats, scholars and other China hands up to date on important trends in China. It is produced by Trey McArver, a London-based consultant providing advice and intelligence to firms and investors engaged in China and the region.

Description:

  • Interns are responsible for tracking the public appearances of the Chinese Communist Party’s seven Politburo Standing Committee members. Every public appearance must be translated and logged in the CPW calendar.
  • Interns will also read and summarize articles by top officials.
  • Interns are also asked to help on any other research projects as needed.

Requirements:

  • Ability to read Chinese
  • Ability to commit 5 hours per week
  • Ability to commit for at least 12 weeks
  • There is no location requirement; internship can be done from anywhere
