The Museum of Modern Art Seeks Mandarin & Cantonese speaking Gallery Lecturers | Visitor Services
The Museum of Modern Art is seeking freelance gallery lecturers to give guided group tours of artworks in MoMA’s collection to Mandarin and Cantonese speaking groups. The ideal candidates will have a strong interest in and knowledge of modern and contemporary art and will be equally proficient in English and another of the foreign languages mentioned above.
Requirements: Master’s degree or higher degree (Art history preferred).
Fluency in spoken Mandarin & Cantonese. Excellent public speaking and interpersonal skills. Previous museum education and gallery lecturing experience preferred. Must be legally qualified to work in the United States.
