We are a consultancy and media on innovation, startups and entrepreneurship across the world. Innovation is Everywhere started out in 2013 as a world tour of startups in the emerging markets, bootstrapped and partly funded through sponsoring. After 15 countries covered, from Nigeria to Indonesia or Chile, Innovation is Everywhere turned to a consultancy model. We help corporates to understand innovation trends and engage into meaningful connections with the startup world.

We are a team of researchers, journalists and consultants, travelling around the globe to the top tech events (CES Las Vegas, GMIC Beijing, Echelon Singapore, Mobile West Africa Lagos, FutureCom Brazil, etc).

Our clients are Fortune500 companies, SMEs and higher education institutions.

About the position:

We are looking for a Market Research assistant to help us on our day-to-day operations as well as on background research for the new projects we may have.

 Typical missions include:

1.     gathering data relevant for our on-going research projects

2.     identifying key experts in the broad innovation field in selected countries for our clients

3.     organizing and running interviews to get qualitative data on the topics we research

4.     producing content based on our research (infographics, blog posts, videos, events)

We provide training on all the projects and are willing to help you grow as our company does.

What we are looking for:

We have been working with great interns so far, who have received as much as they have given in terms of experience. More specifically, we are looking for people with the following set of skills & attitudes – which will be tested in the event of an interview.

Skills:

– Excellent proficiency in Microsoft Powerpoint, Excel

– Ability to run interviews (email, telephone, Skype) if needed

– Perfect written skills in English

– Project management: ability to stick to deadlines, to report, to ask when needed

– WordPress content management system

– DIY SaaS for content infographics (Piktochart, for instance)

– Knowledge of databases (Google Fusion, Spreadsheet) is a plus

Attitudes: Autonomy, creativity, geek culture, curiosity and entrepreneurship
