Mantra is hiring a full time marketing manager.

Overview

Job Description

Roles and Responsibilities:
A) (45%) Strategic Direction / Innovation:
o Refine Mantra‘s customer offering and brand strategy.
o Develop and lead on our customer acquisition strategy over the next 1, 3, 6 and 12 and 36 months.
o Create and lead the team’s cross-team, multi-platform, sales-focused brand promotion strategy.
o Work with the Social Media Manager, Platforms Director and BD Director to implement strategy in tandem across Mantra’s customer interaction points.
o Thoroughly understand market and competitive trends, as well as the strengths, weaknesses, opportunities and threats facing Mantra.

B) (25%) Marketing Orchestration & Execution:
o Work with marketing and operations teams to implement every detail of Mantra’s brand promotion strategy.

C) (25%) Partnerships:
o Pursue and evaluate new high-level opportunities for broad Mantra exposure, reaching new customers. (Ex B2B partnerships, media opportunities, KOL collaboration, etc)

D) (5%) Quantification:
o Work with PD and BD to derive insights from incoming data in regards to Mantra brand awareness, conversion effectiveness, promotional strategies and channel optimization.

Position Requirements
Requirements:
1. Fluent written and oral Chinese / Chinese national
2. Good written and spoken English (your work will primarily be in Chinese, but we do often engage with international partners)
3. 2-4 years in-house brand building & brand management experience within eyewear or fashion industries
4. Insights into our target market, especially 25-40 year old professional women in first-tier Chinese cities
5. An appetite for a non-traditional working environment, taking on flexible tasks, preforming under pressure, executing and iterating quickly.
6. creative ideas, loves brainstorming, intellectually curious, a story-teller
7. Excels at taking big ideas and converting them into specific executable plans. Strong leadership qualities.
8. Motivated by both business potential and social impact.

Preferred:
1. A mix of working environments, from larger and more established corporations
2. Fluent English, experience working / living / studying abroad
3. A strong network of professional contacts to involve for advice, connections and resource sharing
