As the Bespoke Travel Company moves into its next phase of expansion, the company is looking for an experienced, driven and fun individual to be its Marketing Manager to convey to the world the reasons why Bespoke is so ace. The ideal candidate will be a native English speaker, have at least 2-years experience in a marketing role (or as a freelance), and will be keen to work in a fun and fast growing company as a key player.

Vacation allowance: Chinese National Holidays + 15 days per year

Responsibilities

  • To create inventive, fun and engaging marketing campaigns that reflect Bespoke’s core brand values. To manage Bespoke’s social media strategy across Facebook, Twitter and the company’s blog, The Urban Edit. 
  • To manage Bespoke’s overall marketing strategy in the U.S, Europe, Australia, Hong Kong and – Mainland China to ensure maximum exposure for the company’s products and services via appropriate and effective channels 
  • Initiate new media contacts and maintain established relationships with international consumer and trade press via press releases and frequent phone and personal contacts to gain coverage of new and existing products and services. 
  • Write and distribute company, product and executive press releases as part of new product launches and efforts to promote new tours etc. 
  • Organize press travel – both group press trips and travel on an individual basis for journalists on assignment. 
  • Coordinate media events and other opportunities designed to generate media exposure. 
  • Maintain regular reporting of press activity including distribution of clips to management and suppliers and overall ROI analysis on activities. 
  • Manage budget to optimize results. 
  • Vet and coordinate all donation requests. 

 

Requirements 

  • The candidate will preferably have 2-3 years experience in a marketing role or be a prolific freelancer with a proven track record of success. 
  • Have insanely good communication skills, including verbal, written and presentation/design. 
  • Have a proven ability to work collaboratively with media and the public, and influence key stakeholders in the community. 
  • Be a creative thinker, constantly full of new ideas. 
  • Be results oriented with solid analytical skills. 
  • To have an innate ability to develop and build on brands, with a knack for producing visually impressive marketing materials. 
  • Have a proven track record leveraging social networks in digital marketing 
  • Travel industry and/or luxury experience highly preferred.
