The Wall Street Journal is offering paid internships in its Beijing newsroom to undergraduates and graduate students who intend to pursue a career in journalism.

Job Description

Applicants must be enrolled in a university in China, fluent in Chinese and English and available to work a minimum of 20 hours a week.

The Wall Street Journal is a leader in round-the-clock news coverage and maintains one of the largest foreign media operations in China. Interns will work closely with the bureau’s award-winning reporters and editors to cover a range of beats, assisting them in conducting story research, booking interviews, posting items to the web, building slideshows and performing other newsroom tasks.

Digital literacy, dedication to the highest journalistic standards and a voracious appetite for news coming out of the world’s second-largest economy are vital.
