Hello! My name is Christina Lu and I am a junior at the State University of New York (SUNY) at Geneseo. I am a Resident Assistant at my university, an active member of the Women's Leadership Institute and a member of the Geneseo Chinese Culture Club. I enjoy doing anything outdoors. I am very interested in philosophy and learning about cultures, specifically Asian cultures. I grew up in a bilingual and bicultural household, learning Chinese and English simultaneously. I love traveling and hope to travel after graduating. I have been to Brazil, Argentina, France, Madrid, China, Mongolia, Hong Kong, the Dominican Republic and a handful of states in the U.S.

Fosters diversity in the residence halls by coordinating community building activities, conducting floor meetings, and planning programs for residents. Acts as an intermediary between on campus events and the residents. Recruited local farmers from the Geneseo farmers market for the campus wide Southside Food Pride program, a program that raised awareness of eating healthy and locally, that attracted 120 students and faculty. Established a weekly "Meditation Mondays" program, encouraging students to develop habits consistent with a healthy lifestyle and to be more self-aware.
