On November 15th, 2018, during the State Department’s International Education Week (IEW), pengyous across the United States and China came together to celebrate Pengyou Day. The goal of the annual Pengyou Day campaign is to encourage US-China study, engagement and friendship by inspiring young generations of bridge-builders to seek common ground not only between cultures but also within their communities. In addition to the online campaign, Project Pengyou Chapters held various interactive events.

Shoutout to our Pengyou Day Partners: Hopkins-Nanjing Center, the Fulbright Program, SupChina and the US-China Strong Foundation who helped to spread the #PengyouDay campaign in their national networks this year!
