Manufacturing Day (MFG Day) offers students, educators, business-people, media, and professionals of all types an inside look into modern manufacturing. With an aim to support manufacturers, improve public perception of manufacturing, and inspire the next generation of skilled workers, MFG Day draws attention to the social and economic significance of manufacturing all over the country. One of the major MFG Day events in the Chattanooga area will be a panel discussion on recruiting manufacturers to the region, including an introduction of one of the newest manufacturers, Nokian Tyres.
