The Speakers:
Max Ma
Max Ma is the Chief Executive Officer of 7thonline. Max has over two decades of management experience at companies including HBO and Pantone. Mr. Ma holds a M.S. degree in Electrical Engineering from NYC-Polytechnic School of Engineering and B.S. degree from Wuhan University of Technology. Max took English classes under Yale-China teaching fellows while he was living in Wuhan during 1987-89. Max Ma is a trustee of Yale-China Association from 2006 – 2014.
Chinh PHAM
Chinh PHAM, Yale College, ’13 was born in Vietnam, raised in Philadelphia, and now resides in Beijing. He served as a Yale-China Teaching Fellow during 2013-15 at Yali Middle School in Changsha. While there, Chinh has donned many hats during his time at Yali.
Anita Wang
WANG Qingli (Anita) is presently the Founder and Managing Director, H&J Group Limited since 2007. She has gained experience in different capacities adding to her vast resume, ranging from entrepreneurial ventures to teaching in public schools. Anita studied under Yale-China fellows at Central China Normal University during 1986-90. She currently a member of Yale-China’s Board of Trustees.
Weiqing Wang
WANG Weiqin is currently a resident in otolaryngology (ENT) at Peking Union Medical College and pursuing his Doctor of Medicine degree. He obtained his Bachelor of Medicine degree at Xiangya Medical School, which included an elective course in the General Surgery Department at Yale-New Haven Hospital sponsored by Yale-China.
Xizhou Zhou
ZHOU Xizhou, Yale College ’05, Yale School of Forestry & Environmental Studies, ’06, is a Senior Director at IHS Energy. Xizhou was named by Forbes in 2011 as one of the “30 Under 30” young leaders in energy. Xizhou is a graduate of Yali Middle School, which he attended during 1995-2001 and where he was taught by Yale-China Teaching Fellows. He’s currently a member of Yale-China’s Board of Trustees.
