Africa 2.0 China Chapter is bringing together young poets from Africa and China for a night of spoken word performances.

Poets’ intro:

大仙：中国当代著名诗人、作家、自由撰稿人。1959年生于北京，1985年加入圆明园诗社，1988年加入幸存者诗人俱乐部。出版过诗集《再度辉煌》、小说《先拿自己开涮》、《北京的金山上》，代表作《听蝉》被收入各种诗选50余次。

Steve: A Literature and Human Rights Law graduate of Beijing University. Steve worked in a international NGO in Dublin, writes poems, short stories, and translates.

The Villagelad: Masters student. I have done my research, and I have drawn my conclusions. I am the villagelad, and that is all that matters.

Tuli: Masters student in International Trade and Economics. Living life like a lotus at ease in muddy water!

Amina: Final year undergraduate Aeronautical Engineering student at Beihang University. 我是水, the gentle hush of wild things。wat-er m I 呢？Amina.

Louisa: Medical student at Jinggangshang Medical University, Jiangxi Province. A young poet who’s driven by passion and happenings of the daily life cycle to put life in short writings. I love interactive poetry!

Cecilia: An international curriculum designer, focused on introducing new educational strategies to Chinese schools. She also does art translation for young Chinese artists. She tries to explore the musicality transitions from different languages in her translations.
