Learn how Washington State is playing a key role in US -Taiwan trade relations from Mr. Vincent Tao, the current Director General of the Taipei Economic and Cultural Office (TECO) in Seattle.

As Director General, Mr. Yao supervises TECO in Seattle work on broadening and deepening Taiwan relations with the Northwest United States. Previously, Mr. Yao was Deputy Director General of the Department of North American Affairs of Taiwan’s Foreign Ministry, where he was instrumental in designing and implementing Taiwan policies toward the U.S.
