Event Details
On June 23rd at 2 p.m., Columbia Global Centers | Beijing will invite the well-known Tibetan singer Wanma to share his inspiration for his music, as well as his understanding and reflections on Tibetan poetry and folk music.
We warmly welcome everyone who is interested in Tibetan music, culture, poetry, and folk music to come and enjoy the afternoon.
Wanma, a Tibetan singer, is honored as the heir to Tibetan music. He was invited to perform at numbers of regional and international music festivals, ceremonies and charity banquets. In addition, his songs <Olympic> and <Life Stands into a Tree> were played as the theme song by several TV channels and ceremonies during the time of 2008 Olympics Game and 2010 Yushu Earthquake.
