Renowned guzheng (Chinese zither) musician Ji Wei’s astonishing resume includes performing concerts and festivals around the world, producing dozens of CDs and educational DVDs and authoring textbooks. In addition, Ji was China’s only guzheng player to win the ‘Golden Record of Best  Performer’ and the world’s first guzheng musician to record with Deutsche  Grammophon-Gesellshaft, classical music’s gold standard. She also works to increase the repertoire and marry the guzheng with modern music. In 2009, Hong Kong’s Jessica magazine named her one of their Top Ten Successful  Women.
