Hon Ng, senior counsel at Uber, will speak about ” An Insider’s View on the App that Everyone’s Talking About.” With very different operating environments across China, India, Hong Kong, Korea and other cities, the Asia-Pacific region has presented unique complexities for Uber. Hon will share insights from his experience in advising Uber on commercial transactions, government relations, corporate governance, compliance, business strategy, investments and corporate structuring matters.

About Hon Ng

Hon Ng leads the transactions team for Uber in the APAC region and was employee #2 for his team in APAC. Uber is one of the fastest growing and most valuable private technology companies in the world with operations in over 60 countries and 400 cities. Prior to joining Uber, Mr. Ng was a senior attorney with Latham & Watkins specializing in M&A and Capital Markets and regularly acted in the largest and most complicated deals in the region. Mr. Ng was also an attorney with White & Case and helped to establish its Middle East practice based out of Qatar where his work included assisting the Government of Qatar to prepare for the hosting the 2022 FIFA World Cup. Prior to the Middle East, Mr. Ng was based in London for more than 5 years with leading international law firm, Herbert Smith.
