Calling all American China-alumni!

There are just a few days left to apply for the Project Pengyou Leadership Fellows Program!

We are looking forward to convene our first cohort of Leadership Fellows at Harvard University in March, and are so excited that there has been so much interest in our program!  So far, we’ve received applications from alumni affiliated with over 70 study abroad programs and 100 universities.

For those who are interested but have not yet applied, there is still time!  Just make sure to complete our application form by February 23, 2014 (6 PM EST)!

Also, don’t forget to encourage your classmates and former classmates from your school / study abroad program to  become a Project Pengyou member online and/or apply to be a leadership fellow. As we mention in our FAQ, one of our criteria for selection of fellows will be based on the number of other Project Pengyou members and applicants from your program or school, as it would be one indicator of the strength of support that a fellow would receive from classmates and alumni after the four-day summit in Cambridge, MA.

About the Program:
Project Pengyou is currently recruiting passionate alumni of China study and exchange programs to launch a robust grassroots network of community chapters across the nation. Pengyou Leadership Fellows will receive an exclusive opportunity to participate in a four-day Leadership Summit at Harvard University from March 20-23, 2014. Join a groundbreaking nationwide campaign to promote Mandarin study and constructive exchanges with China.

To apply, you must be a registered member on ProjectPengyou.org. Applicants should be a member of their China alumni group on ProjectPengyou.org and have completed over 80% of their online profile, including a profile photo.
