Responsibilities

·       Edit, enter and polish material on website

·       Choose, edit and manipulate graphics for publication

·       Manage publications mailouts using web-based applications

·       Develop, maintain and troubleshoot website and other web-based applications

·       Assist publications manager with development of new online editing and publication system

·       Design pages and graphics

Knowledge and Skills

·       Enthusiasm for online design, editing and publishing

·       Native-level English editing ability

·       Eye for detail and clear communicator

·       Good intercultural communication skills

·       Strong China studies background an advantage

·       Chinese language skills an advantage

·       Experience with WordPress an advantage

·       Experience with Adobe Creative Suite or similar graphics software an advantage

·       Experience managing social media an advantage

·       Ability to produce work to a set schedule

·       Flexible and able to take initiative

·       Willingness to work overtime when necessary
