JOB TITLE: Social Media Specialist

DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:

• Maintain continual awareness of emerging social media and vaping industry trends
• Work closely with the marketing and management teams to plan, develop, coordinate and administer social media campaigns.
• Coordinate campaigns with US marketing team and social media specialists in hub locations
• Manage multiple teams of contributors, track and report performance, enforce policies and approve payments
• Coordinate contributor management with US marketing team and social media specialists in hub locations 
• Investigate and develop new contributors
• Plan, schedule, develop and maintain online presence on multiple platforms
  • Instagram (multiple feeds)
  • Facebook (including trading groups)
  • Reddit
  • Pinterest
  • Twitter
  • Others as assigned
• Monitor the company’s social media accounts and offer constructive interaction with users
• Monitor company mentions in outside forums, websites, blogs, etc. and direct contributor interaction as appropriate
• Assist in website upkeep
• Create methods for finding and utilizing online customer reviews
• Continually analyze social media activities for effectiveness, provide regular reporting and suggest new strategies to management and executive teams. 
• Track social media expenditures and report budget information as directed
• Participate in development of company overall marketing strategy and goals

QUALIFICATIONS & ABILITIES: 

• Bachelor’s degree in marketing, communications or related field preferred
• 2+ years’ experience in social media marketing
• Vaping industry experience required
• Knowledge of social media options, trends and best practices
• In-depth working knowledge of Facebook, Twitter, Instagram, Reddit, YouTube, Pinterest, Google+ and Twitter
• Experience with social media analytics, including Google Analytics and Facebook Insights
• Basic knowledge of Photoshop and some content creation ability
• Strong organizational skills; able to manage priorities and meet deadlines
• Ability to work independently and as a member of various teams and committees
• Ability to effectively communicate with people at all levels and from various backgrounds
• Must be able to speak, read, write, and understand the primary language(s) used in the workplace
• Acute attention to detail
• Versatility, flexibility, and a willingness to work within constantly changing priorities with enthusiasm
• Must be able to work legally in China and pass a background check
