Vericant makes admissions easier for North American educational institutions by helping them identify best-fit Chinese applicants via verified video interviews, proctored writing samples, and spoken English evaluation. For the past four years, we’ve persuaded North American institutions to reconsider the way they evaluate applicants and now we are the most widely required video interview in North America.

The Vericant Behavioral Interview provides applicants a platform to shine and gives a fast, effective way for admission officers to evaluate their applicants. A fast-growth company, with a diverse and talented team, we have tripled in size since our founding in 2011.

 

Position Description

– Ensure quality of service for Vericant’s Spoken English Evaluation (SEE), one of two core services

– Develop strong management and mentorship skills leading small and medium sized teams of in-house Associates & part-time raters

– Work closely on product development as part of a dynamic start-up

– Be part of a flexible team that Gets Things Done by working closely with fellow managers to ensure successful and timely delivery of Vericant’s core products

– Help build a business that makes a positive impact on the international education industry

– Develop and maintain a keen understanding of Vericant’s mission, vision, and the China admissions environment

– Impeccable written and verbal communication skills

– Exceptional interpersonal skills – warm and friendly

– Strong conceptual and analysis skills

– Prior experience managing small teams or projects

– Attention to detail and excellent organization skills 

– Ability to take initiative and work independently 

– Highly motivated and demonstrates professionalism

– Innate desire to be better than you were yesterday

– Gets things done. Period.

 

Desired Qualifications:

– Quick learner and excellent team player

– Excellent time-management

– Prior mentorship experience

– Experience working in mainland China and demonstrated ability to work cross-culturally

– Interest in following: psychometrics, communications soft skills, language use, school

admissions and international educational trends
