ASSISTANT PROJECT MANAGER JOB DESCRIPTION
Marketing Artist seeks self starters and fast learners who are ready to hit the ground running and make immediate contributions. Qualified candidates must be able to switch gears quickly and juggle responsibilities across client projects under the direction of the supervising project manager. Working with diverse clients across multiple projects requires the flexibility to execute responsibilities on the move and in changing work spaces.
All team members need to filter the constant inflow of daily communication with clients and other stakeholders to identify what information is critical to perform assigned responsibilities. Teamwork is an essential component of the Marketing Artist work environment, and all team members should expect to provide and receive support to achieve common goals and successfully deliver on clients’ expectations.
Responsibilities
• Attend meetings with clients and stakeholders and record detailed minutes to distribute
between Marketing Artist and its partners
• Maintain detailed records of marketing activities, including online and print media and PR
events, to facilitate the evaluation of campaign effectiveness and post-campaign reporting
• Support the management of client expectations through document creation and revision,
such as campaign proposals, email communication, and meeting minutes, on short notice
• Liaise with business partners to ensure satisfactory progress and timely execution of their responsibilities and immediately identify and report any issues to the project manager
• Create flowcharts for client events and distribute to organizers both within Marketing Artist and from partnering organizations
• Attend client events as a representative of both Marketing Artist and its client and contribute to successful event execution that meets or exceeds client expectations
Requirements & Preferred Qualifications
• Intermediate to fluent languages skills in both English and Chinese
• Clear and concise writing ability with fast turnaround and desire to incorporate feedback
• Eye and ear for detail along every step from initial client meeting through event recap
• Adaptable to fast-paced and changing work environment with the flexibility to shift focus
as internal and external factors demand
• Strong work ethic across independent and team-based responsibilities, including
Marketing Artist colleagues and representatives of Marketing Artist business partners
• Bachelors degree preferred but will consider candidates with required language abilities
• Priority given to candidates with one or more years of marketing/PR or related experience
Compensation & Benefits
• Salary commensurate with experience – minimum 5,000 RMB/month – with negotiable
terms following successful probation period
• Cross-industry exposure and introduction to key industry players with both Chinese and
international brands
