As a “Business Development Manager” your role will be to strategically identify businesses who will benefit from Digital Jungles’ services, including digital marketing such as Social Media Marketing on Weibo and more importantly WeChat as well as the most relevant Chinese online platforms, website, app- , / eCommerce development, Search Engine Marketing (SEM & SEO), in addition to affiliate marketing and media buying. This is where your strategic sales and innovative business development skills will be put to good use. Conveniently based in Beijing, you will be supported by a multi-cultural team who actually give back to their colleagues and all strive to achieve our clients goals. A self-starter is a must.

The Role

To be considered you must be able to use your own initiative to identify new business opportunities, confidently contact leads and ask the questions needed to close the sale.

In addition you will have:

A minimum of 3-5 year sales experience within digital marketing

Familiarity with china social media landscape, SEO and SEM and other digital marketing methods targeting Chinese audiences

Excellent communication skills- verbal and written in the English and the Chinese language

The ability to build relationships and close sales

Experience with team- and project management along with the ability to offer resource allocation expertise

A strategic mindset and innovative selling skills

A positive mindset, a drive to hunt down business & the hunger to succeed

Strong time management

The ability to work autonomously as well as within a close-knit team environment

A sophisticated business development aptitude & strong negotiating skills

Offer support, advice and solutions to the team in tandem with the Managing Director

Ability to take on challenges and help support the Managing Director in the decision making process for projects, sales, team management and resource development

Agency experience and multi lingual skills are an added advantage
