Job Description
The teacher will be responsible for:
- Upper School Schedule – Teaching four classes per day, from Mandarin Chinese Level 1 to Mandarin Chinese Level 4 (45 minutes per class). Students range from the 9th grade to the 12th grade. The textbooks are Integrated Chinese published by Cheng & Sui.
- Lower School Schedule – Leading two after-school Mandarin clubs. Advanced Mandarin Club is one hour per week on Thursdays. The Basic Mandarin Club is one hour per week on Fridays. Both clubs start at 3:30 pmand end at 4:30 pm. Students range from Pre-K to the 5th grade. There are no books for the clubs – the teacher will design Chinese cultural/language related activities for the students.
