It is our goal to ensure that every orphaned child has a caring adult in her life and a chance at a bright future.Our small Berkeley office team provides global support functions for these programs.
We seek a highly motivated, organized, self -starter to coordinate our China Care Clubs program, a global youth empowerment movement for high school and college students. Our CCC Coordinator will provide fundraising and program support to these students, and will provide project support to our internal Communications and Development team.

Job Description

We seek a highly motivated, organized, self -starter to coordinate our China Care Clubs program, a global youth empowerment movement for high school and college students. Our CCC Coordinator will provide fundraising and program support to these students, and will provide project support to our internal Communications and Development team.
This is a full-time position based in Berkeley, CA.
Responsibilities:
- Provide communications and administrative support to student clubs in areas such as fundraising, event-planning, donation processing, leadership and long-term planning
- Help create “leadership development” tools and deliverables to strengthen club leadership
- Assist with creating alumni database and building alumni network
- Help research, develop and execute an outreach strategy for expanding club network and broadening base of volunteer support
- Seek continuous feedback from current volunteers and club members to help refine programs and support
- Creatively use social networking and new media to engage and inform student club members and other donors.
- Edit reports for delivery to donors.
Qualifications:
- BA/BS degree
- Ability to work well with a variety of people, especially ability to connect with college and high school students.
- Prior experience working with volunteers or in student service clubs preferred.
- Attention to detail in planning and logistics
- Ability to prioritize, handle a variety of tasks and be self-directed in a fast-paced work environment
- Excellent presentation, writing, and editing skills
- Familiarity with social media tools, Google Adwords, and Google Analytics a plus
- Preference given to those with a meaningful connection to Chinese culture and/or the children we serve
- Preference given to China Care Club alumni. Recent grads welcome to apply.
