Curriculum Designer at Pingo Space

An exciting Beijing-based tech-education app and platform called Pingo Space is looking for a curriculum design manager for children’s courses and activities. The curriculum would include a variety of topics including arts, maths, science, music, sports, engineering and tech. Ideal candidates would have experience teaching children, a relevant degree in education or curriculum design, CELTA/TEFL/TESOL, independent working attitude, leadership skills and fluent English. Z visa provided and salary negotiable depending on experience. 

Curriculum and course designers use learning theory and technical knowledge to create an educational experience for learners that successfully teaches them new information or improves their skill level. The design process includes assessing learner needs and styles, defining learning objectives, creating the learning environment and content materials, implementing the training and evaluating the effectiveness of the curriculum. Designers work closely with colleagues, managers and other educators to determine needs throughout the design process.

Job Responsibilities: 
1. Create Science, Art, Engineering， Sports, Cultural activities and curriculum lesson plans
2. Assist in executing the activities in a real life setting
3. Review the lessons and adjust and improve quality of lessons
4. Interview and train potential teachers to follow the set curriculum
5. Provide educational leadership to the integration of curriculum, instruction, and assessment across curricular areas.
6. Provides leadership in the development and refinement of content standards and benchmarks.
7. Provides leadership in designing strategies that infuse content standards, benchmarks, assessments, media and technology into teachers’ planning and practice.
8. Provides leadership and support in designing instructional strategies to meet the needs of diverse learners.

Job Requirements:
l CELTA/TEFL/TESOL
l Native English Speaker or Near Native English Speaker
l A degree in curriculum design or at least 2 years experience in a course or curriculum design/ activity design for children.
l 2 or more years of teaching experience to Children
l Designers must be able to work with minimal supervision and be responsible for overseeing the execution of the lessons.
l Highly motivated and experienced
l Team player
l Great execution skills


Working Conditions:
Curriculum and course designers will work in an office environment in our company in a team of 10 people.
Location: Dong Sheng Tech Park Co-working space ( Line 8 Yong Tai Zhuang, 5-minute walk to office)

Benefits Package
l Salary: 13000-16000RMB/month
l Company equity 250,000 company shares(company valuation is 80 million US dollars) after 6 months of work

l 7 days paid vacation
l Working hours (Mon-Fri 10:00-18:00)
