Education Services Manager (Account Manager – University of the West of Scotland), Beijing (CHI-1594)

 

We are looking for an Education Services Manager on behalf of our client (University of the West of Scotland). This role will offer the post holder opportunities to implement the University’s strategies, provide support services for stakeholders and coordinate a diverse portfolio of activities. 

Your main accountabilities will include translating the University’s strategic aims into practical and achievable business development plans and deliverable results to help meet on-campus student recruitment targets, supporting the development of new, and the management of ongoing, relationships with partner organisations, liaising with the University’s academic colleagues and Registry as required in order to ensure compliance and best practice is adopted and that we remain compliant with QAA guidelines, working closely with the University’s International Recruitment, Admissions, Marketing and Academic Registry to provide students with the best possible support on the ground.

 

The job involves extensive travel and sometimes for up to three weeks at a time, so the ability and willingness to work evenings, weekends and unsocial hours are essential. 

 

To be considered a successful candidate, you must have at least a Bachelor’s Degree along with experience of student recruitment (at least 2 years), experience working in an international environment, preferably in higher education as well as the experience of working with third parties including agents. Candidates with experience of international conversion activities and working with Chinese institutions and related government organisations will be preferred. You also need to possess excellent communication and presentation skills, be able to manage your time carefully, and is able to network with senior clientele.
