Ullens Center for Contemporary Art 
English Editor

Public Relations Department

The English Editor is responsible for all English text produced by UCCA, whether writing, translating, or editing.

Responsibilities:

  • Work with the Exhibitions Department to write exhibitions-related texts, including press releases, brochures, and wall texts
  • Regular editing tasks for the Public Programs Department, including event descriptions, newsletters, and posters
  • Miscellaneous editing and translation responsibilities related to the Center’s operations
  • Occasional PR tasks, including support for exhibition openings, press relations, and English-language social media

Requirements:

  • Native English speaker, professional proficiency in Chinese
  • High attention to detail
  • Strong writing skills

At least 24 years old, preferably with a year of work experience in the arts
Background in art and culture, ideally art history or contemporary art
Some translation experience preferred
