Mr. Fang is looking for two full-time native English teachers for each school for a commitment of at least two semesters. The school will provide a salary (approx. 5000 RMB/month), accommodations and meals. This is a great opportunity for the adventurous few who enjoy living off the beaten track, in addition to the opportunity to form a bond with a banker who was instrumental in helping China develop to where it is today.  This would not be for the feint of heart – little to no English is likely spoken in both locations.

-Duancun School is a full-time general school located in Duancun Village, Anxin County, Baoding City, Hebei Province. To facilitate building of the school, the government of Anxin County, Baoding City, Hebei Province, the authority that provided an approval, provided part of financial support, 10,000 villagers of Duancun Village donated land, while the community at home and abroad donated capital and materials and contributed to teacher building. Through merging three primary schools in Duancun Village, the school aims to bring better education conditions and more advanced educational philosophy to local people.

–In order to promote quality education in an all-round way and foster talents that are excellent in character, learning, and art for the society, Duancun School got approval from Anxin County Bureau of Education to run its first junior high school class from September 1, 2015, enrolling 36 students in total.

–There are currently 17 teaching classes and 759 students, including 80 students living in school; there are currently 49 teachers, including 24 teachers with a bachelor’s degree and 25 teachers with a college degree. The teacher team consists of 13 full-time Chinese teachers, 13 full-time mathematics teachers, and 4 full-time English teachers.
